Become an MHFA Instructor

Do you want to become an Adult or Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor?” If that’s a “yes,” you’ve already done the most important part: you’ve decided to #BeTheDifference.

MHFA Instructors unite their communities, reduce negative attitudes about mental health and substance use challenges, build mental health literacy and teach others how they can help.

Our 3-day Instructor training courses are offered virtually and in-person. Each course costs $2,200 and discounts are available for existing Instructors and National Council members.

To begin your journey to becoming an Instructor, complete this form. A member of our team will review your submission and you will receive an email with instructions for completing the application within 48 hours.

Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive more information on registering for an upcoming course and accessing course materials.
