West Michigan schools stand to benefit from state’s $13 million in federal grants

The Kent Intermediate School District is among key state partners for a five-year, $1.9 million Project AWARE grant announced Friday, Nov. 7.

A total of nearly $13 million in federal grants will be used in Michigan schools to improve students’ health and safety, according to the the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
